Tour of Platt Hall

Take a tour with Platt Hall staff and discover the history and how it is changing for the present.

Manchester Art Gallery is more than just the city centre gallery and over 200 years the spaces for exhibiting and storing artworks and dress have changed. Join the team at Platt Hall and explore how this building has been part of the Gallery for nearly 100 years, see more of the dress collection and find out about the current transformation of the Hall.

This is an opportunity to be part of the conversations that are shaping the future of Platt Hall.

This tour with Platt Hall staff will take in different spaces in the Hall and is a chance to see the dress and historic collections that are currently stored at the Hall. Explore the architecture of this unique building in Manchester.

Stay for a hot drink afterwards and enjoy the garden created in partnership with The Friends of Platt Fields Park.

This event is free, but please consider making a donation to support our programme if you can, online, or at one of our cash or contactless donation boxes. 12 people max.
