A full-length portrait of Diana Crosbie, Countess Glandore; standing, looking forward and as if in mid-movement, walking through the scene. She is holding onto her dress with her right hand as her left is outstretched to the right. A rolling landscape can be seen to the right, with trees to the left. Her hair is up, secured loosely with ribbons and pearls, locks of loose hair falling over her shoulders. Diana Crosbie (née Sackville), Viscountess Crosbie (1756 - 1814) was the daughter of the 1st Viscount Sackville. She was the wife of John Crosbie, 2nd Earl of Glandore and 2nd Viscount Crosbie. She had a reputation for gambling and debt. This print is a proof. Published in London on 20th September 1779 by William Dickinson and Thomas Watson.
