Summary

Scene within an exhibition hall, circular in shape, with a glass dome and a colonnaded walkway between the body of the hall and the outside wall, with sculptures displayed between the arches. A curtain hangs from the dome, beneath which is a podium, against which works are displayed. The exhibition is attended by high society ladies and gentlemen, who promenade in groups or couples.
