Summary
Study of the lower section of 'Monument for the Heart of Henry II', a sculpture in the Louvre by sixteenth century French sculptor Germain Pilon (1535-90), showing three women in drapery standing back to back in a triangular fashion. This drawing is from Valette's early period of study in France before he arrived in Manchester.
