Head of Leda
Summary
Portrait head of a young girl, depicted with chin-length tousled hair, which frames her face; she has a high, domed forehead, accentuated by the wave of hair that has been thrown across from one side of her head to the other, full cheeks and slightly pouting and parted lips. The head stands on a wedge-shaped base, made of a dark, smooth-surfaced material. Leda (b.1939) was the granddaughter of Epstein and daughter of Peggy Jean (b.1918) and Norman Hornstein.
