Summary
Francis Russell, Marquis of Tavistock (1739-1767), was the eldest son of John Russell, the 4th Duke of Bedford, and Gertrude Leveson-Gower. He was a British politician. He married Lady Elizabeth Keppel in 1764 - see her portrait 1920.350. Francis died only a few years later in 1767 after accidentally falling from his horse while hunting. This print is a proof in the first state. Published in 1767.
