Jesus is Nailed to the Cross
Summary
Christ is naked as he is being nailed to the cross. His head is in profile while his right hand, on the viewer's left, is being nailed up by one soldier holding a hammer. His other hand hangs lose. A rope is strung across his chest and wrapped around the apex of the cross. The other soldier at his feet is tying them to the base of the cross. 1928.146 - 1928.152 (Stations VIII to XIV) share a mount, as do 1928.139 - 1928.145 (Stations I to VII)
