Summary
Graveyard scene at twilight. In the foreground, on the left, a nun digs a grave. On the right another nun is seated on the grave side, her hands clasped together holding a rosary. She sits facing her companion with her face turned towards the viewer. Behind them are gravestones of various sizes, with a low wall in the background. A short bell tower is visible behind the wall. The yellow tinged sky is almost clear except for a few light grey clouds.
